It has today been announced that the final EuroBOSS event for 2005 will take place at the Lausitz EuroSpeedway, Germany during the weekend of the 8th - 9th October replacing the race at Le Mans, France which had been scheduled for the same weekend. Located in the South of Brandenburg, Lausitz EuroSpeedway is one of the biggest and most modern motor sport and event facilities world-wide.
Spectators can expect a fast, exciting, adrenaline fuelled weekend full of entertainment as EuroBOSS supports the second round of the inaugural season of the A1 Grand Prix Series. A1 Grand Prix is the first opportunity in any area of motorsport for nations to compete on a level playing field. It is a series where technology and innovation are deliberately equalised and performance is determined by human bravery, skill and excellence. Team and driver combine to create their advantage and the winning nation raises its flag in celebration.
Roger Cowman, EuroBOSS Race Director, commented "I have made this decision for the benefit of the drivers and all interested parties. We have already hosted a race here this year and are very impressed with the facilities. Everyone at the Lausitz EuroSpeedway have been very receptive to us hosting a race in support of the A1 Grand Prix and we know that this event will be a fitting finale to the year."
