Klaas Zwart qualified 2nd in his superb Ferrari V12, pushed out by Dave Sheltons Benetton ably driven by former EuroBOSS Series winner Nigel Greensall. Englishman Greensall's former boss, European Aviations Paul Stoddart was a guest of the GPLive organisers and presented the awards for race 1. Zwarts Ferrari managed to put water into the oil (ouch !), so the current series leader had to swop back to his normal Ascari Judd V10 and start at the back of the grid. 13 cars qualified, but a huge start line shunt which eliminated Englishman Roger Kilty, Scotsman Eddie McLurg and Joachim Ryschka from Germany in the IndyCar, plus the retirement of Greensall and the Frenchman D'Aubrebys Benetton, left the Ascari twins 1st and 2nd being chased home by the very well driven Jordan of Miss Jodie Hemming who battled with van Eerd in his Tyrrell. EuroBOSS Masters was won by a very happy Karl-Heinz Becker from Germany in his Nissan World Series Dallara.
Race 2 gave a very impresive victory to the Kockney Koi Benetton of Nigel Greensall, chased home by the Ascari's, followed by Hemming. Becker completed a full house, and won the EuroBOSS Masters class again, chased home by the hastily repaired Reynard of Kilty and the lovely Skoal Bandit RAM Turbo of Englishman Colin Stone. Trophies were presented by former McLaren F1 driver John Watson, and former McLaren team manager, Jo Ramairez. Has a EuroBOSS driver plans to race a McLaren ?
